Wellington Court Restaurant

Chef Erik Peacock grew up around the food business. This early exposure, paired with the beautiful bounty of the Niagara food and wine region, has shaped Erik as a chef. "When I took over the kitchen at the restaurant, the area and the wine industry were really emerging, coming alive. The opportunities were plentiful."  The opportunity delighted Erik. He formed relationships with winemakers and winery owners as well as local food producers. They inspired Erik to create a menu focussed on local ingredients infused with international flavours. Before long, Wellington Court Restaurant was one of the region's fine dining hot spots.

The Café at Henry of Pelham Winery

Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery is a premium estate winery located on the Short Hills Bench at the base of the Niagara Escarpment (a United Nations biosphere) in St. Catharines, Ontario. Owned and operated by the Speck family since 1988, the land was first deeded to our great, great, great grandfather, Nicholas Smith, in 1794. Nicholas fought with Butler’s Rangers in the American Revolutionary war.  His youngest son Henry of Pelham built the building that houses our wine store and hospitality rooms.  Henry built the former carriage house in 1842.  He signed his name Henry of Pelham recognizing Pelham road as one of the main through fares in Niagara.
