TORONTO

Zucca Trattoria

The cuisine at Zucca is based on the finest raw materials simply prepared. The menus, which change with the seasons, reflect Andrew Milne-Allan’s commitment to presenting the distinctive regional cuisines of Italy, with a variety of dishes rarely found on the menus of local Italian restaurants.

Grano Ristorante

Grano Ristorante is known as “Piazza Martella” by the friends (virtually the whole city) of owner Roberto Martella.  Just like the Italian Town Piazza where the friends meet regularly, you just cannot drive along Yonge Street without stopping to say hello. Roberto is recognized as the Italian Cultural Ambassador here in Toronto.  Lucia, his wife, is responsible for the authentic delicious recipes for which Grano is well known. Grano delivers a truly Italian experience without having to leave town. Roberto and Lucia’s genuine hospitality is reflected by all the staff. It is like a big family. Here you get the total experience.

Norman Hardie

I have made a special sausage for his famous wood fire oven pizza by using the lees from Norman Hardie wines.  Make sure you order the sausage pizza paired with his award-winning County Pinot Noir.
